Schenströmska Herrgård – An idyllic manor near Västerås and Örebro!

Schenströmska Herrgården is located just outside Västerås in the old town of Ramnäs. The venue offers conference facilities in unique historical surroundings right next to the water!

Conference Room
This manor has six conference rooms, where the largest accommodates up to 600 people. There are also three smaller rooms available for companies who may want to split up. All conference rooms are equipped with modern technology such as PC, projector, audio system etc.
Schenströmska has recently completed a comprehensive renovation of the manor’s beautiful Stallbyggnad. The opening ceremony was held in May 2017.

Housing
The 36 rooms are distributed in the manor house, four wings and the Sjövillan. Here you stay in rooms furnished and decorated differently from each other.

In most rooms there are beds from Hästens and of course all rooms have a private bathroom with shower and toilet.

In the morning, the staff will serve a delicious breakfast buffet. Do not miss to taste Schenströmska’s homemade marmalades and freshly baked bread!

The meals
The food served at Schenströmska is both classical and of a more modern nature. The chefs Anders and Andreas take great care of the meals. The food is cooked from scratch as much as possible and the ambition to reduce food waste is constantly in the process of planning.

Dinner, lunch and coffee can be taken in the majestic lounge, or why not in the rustic vault?

Activities
Schenströmska Herrgård has activities that suit all types of companies. You may be looking for an activity that will strengthen your group feeling; building a wood chart or a pentathlon can be something for you. Or do you want instead a quiet activity that inspires to creativity and harmony? Then maybe watercolor painting or pottery fits you better. The list of activities is long and we are happy to help you find activities based on your preferences.

The surroundings
Schenströmska Herrgård is beautifully situated next to Lake Nadden. The area breathes Swedish history since several rustic old buildings are found here. If you enter the old Lancashire smithy behind the manor, you almost get the feeling that the workers left their tools and went home for the day. But they did it a long time ago now.

Getting here
The facility is 20 minutes from Västerås, 40 minutes from Örebro and less than 1.5 hours from Stockholm.
