Regardless of work meeting or kick-off – a conference in Tallinn can definitely mean a combination of productive work and team-strengthening experiences for the participants.

Tallinn is, like Visby, an old Hanseatic city. And certainly the cityscape in Tallinn's Old Town reminds a lot of Visby. The Old Town of Tallinn consists of rustic buildings, small squares and narrow alleys. There is a very large selection of restaurants, bars and shops here.

But Tallinn is much more than just the Old Town. Not far away is, for example, Tallinn's hipster quarter "Kalamaja" with many different pubs, bars and cafes.

For those interested in history, Tallinn is particularly exciting. Tallinn's history stretches back to the 12th century when the city was founded. But even the more "modern" history can be studied, for example through a visit to the KGB interception center which has been preserved for "museum" purposes.

For conference trips that take place in summer, it may also be worth noting that just east of Tallinn there are miles of sandy beaches.

Conferencing, staying, eating and drinking in Tallinn can be done at a comparatively affordable cost. Often this means that the total cost, including travel, will be lower than organizing an equivalent event in Sweden.

In terms of conference facilities, there is a good range of hotels in different price ranges, which are well located for exploring the city during your stay.

For the slightly smaller group, Schlössle Hotel can be an interesting alternative. The hotel is located in the old part of town and is of a very high standard.

Another smaller but exclusive hotel is Savoy Boutique Hotel. This hotel is also centrally located in the city.

Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia is about 1 km from the old town. Despite its size, the hotel provides good intimacy even for smaller groups.
