Sälen's LONGEST & BEST SKIING
The best and most varied skiing can be found at Stöten in Sälen. Sälenfjället's northernmost ski resort offers the longest descent of 3060 meters and the highest drop of 370 meters, Stöten is an option for everyone from beginners to professionals. It offers varied skiing with a magnificent view of the Swedish and Norwegian mountains.

A total of 49 slopes are distributed on Sälen's best skiing, where Stöten's guests can enjoy long, sweeping slopes but also steeper slopes for more advanced skiing.
Two years in a row, Stöten's black run Älvan has been named Sweden's Best Slope by Freeride's
readers.

With a ski pass, you get access to the open competition courses in the facility. Challenge the group in Side by Side (parallel slalom), compete in Self Timer (giant slalom) or see who can get down the slope the fastest in Speed Freak.

Stöten in Sälen has received the awards Ski Resort of the Year 2019, Sweden's Best Ski Resort, Sweden's Best Ski Resort for Families with Children and Sweden's Best Slope 2020/2021 & 2021/2022.
In 2021/2022, the award Sweden's Best Park was also received.

MORE THAN THE BEST SKIING IN Sälen
If you don't want to go downhill, don't despair. Stöten offers lots of fun activities for everyone, such as a gym, bowling, swimming, hot tubs, saunas, snowmobile safaris, snowshoeing, dog sledding, good food experiences and of course après-ski.
Of course, there is also a large selection of team activities that are tailored to your needs and wishes.

If it is instead cross-country skiing that attracts, there are as many as 45 km of cross-country tracks for both classic skiing and skating. In the valley there are five different trails in varying terrain and up on the mountain there are two trails with a fantastic view of several Swedish and Norwegian mountains.

ALWAYS SKI-IN/SKI-OUT LOCATION
In Stöten there is accommodation to suit all occasions but with the common denominator; that the car can be parked and the ski boots are put on already in the hall. A total of 8,500 beds divided into luxurious log cabins, nice larger and smaller apartments or simpler cabins and decent hotel rooms. All with Ski-in/Ski-out location.

In December 2023, Stöten in Sälen will open the new Soltorget Ski Lodge, a new premium accommodation in a prime location with a total of 344 new beds.

Meeting rooms & venues
Located close to nature, restaurants, lifts and slopes, the resort has a total of eight conference rooms, the largest of which can accommodate up to 300 people. Large nice areas with comfortable seating groups perfect for group work are available both at the hotel and in the conference center Vattufjäll. At Stöten there is open WiFi without complicated logins.

Food & drink in a lovely atmosphere
What would a ski resort be without cozy restaurants? In Stöten there is a varied selection of both fast food and slow food with everything from pizza, burgers, traditional Fondue, the taste of game or a perfectly cooked entrecote. Or why not customize an arrangement for the conference dinner?

There are several different options for transportation to and from Stöten:

Car, free parking within the entire facility.
Train, to Mora and then change to bus.
Bus, goes all the way from most major cities in Sweden.
Flight, to Scandinavian Mountains Airport, only 15 min from Stöten, with direct flights from Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Ängelholm, Copenhagen, Groningen, Luxembourg and London.
