Almåsa Havshotell – Sweden’s most meaningful conference experience

Almåsa Havshotell is a welcoming, personal meeting venue located by Hårsfjärden in Västerhaninge, approximately a 30-minute drive from central Stockholm. The facility features nine conference rooms accommodating up to 120 participants, a restaurant seating 120 guests, and 62 hotel rooms plus four cottages, offering a total of 144 beds.
For smaller groups, there is *Strandhuset*—a secluded meeting house right at the water’s edge. It includes a lounge with a fireplace, an electric sauna, a Jacuzzi, year-round sea swimming, and a wood-fired sauna located at the far end of the pier.

Three-star accommodation
Almåsa Havshotell offers 144 beds across 66 three-star rooms. The interiors reflect Sweden’s beautiful natural landscapes, utilizing materials inspired by the outdoors.

Environmental commitment
Almåsa Havshotell holds the Green Key eco-label and works systematically and with a long-term perspective to minimize its environmental impact.
– The facility is heated via geothermal energy and features its own solar power system. – Almåsa operates its own water purification plant. – Conscious purchasing decisions prioritize organic, locally produced, and Fairtrade-certified products whenever possible.

Turn your conference into an opportunity for new experiences
Through Almåsa’s unique activity concept, "Blunda så får du se" (Close Your Eyes and See), groups can explore communication, collaboration, trust, and interpersonal interaction from new perspectives. Many of the activities are led by staff members who are visually impaired. Offerings include team-building exercises, coffee breaks and wine tastings in total darkness, and the opportunity to dine at Almåsa’s *Svartkrog* (Dark Restaurant). Almåsa is owned by Iris Förvaltning AB through the Foundation for the Visually Impaired (Synskadades Stiftelse). The facility’s profits are reinvested into the visually impaired community and projects supporting people with visual impairments. Consequently, a conference at Almåsa offers value to both the group and the meeting itself—while the stay also contributes to a greater cause.

Meeting groups can also enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings of the facility. Go kayaking on the bay, take a walk through the grounds, or enjoy winter activities on the ice. Work out or use the sauna on-site and feel your body relax.

Location: Accessible
It takes about 30 minutes to reach Västerhaninge Station from Stockholm by public transport, followed by a roughly 20-minute drive to the facility. By car, the entire journey from central Stockholm takes about half an hour.
